A Bumper City

These bumper stickers were created in response to the changing socioeconomic landscape of the Bay Area.  Though the population of this area has changed many times over the years,  in  recent years the city has experienced a bigger divide driving out artist, people of color and the working class.  This was my small way of addressing the issue as I placed these stickers around the city in areas that have seen a rise in gentrification  in the hopes that someone waiting for a "Google" bus will recognize  their impact on the visual and emotional landscape of the neighborhood.
